What is the Freedom of Information Act 2000?
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the Act) gives you the right to obtain information held by public authorities unless an exemption applies to that information.
Monitor is a public authority for the purposes of the Act.
Monitor's Publication Scheme
Monitor is committed to complying with the Model Publication Scheme approved by the Information Commissioner under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The new scheme is under active consideration by Monitor and the website will be updated shortly. Commitment to the new scheme is fully supported by Monitor's Board, as discussed at its meeting on 10 December 2008.
